2 Months Old
Here are Reagan's 2 month stats
Weight: 10lbs 7oz (50th percentile)
Height: 22inches (50th percentile)
She is such a good baby. She consistently sleeps through the night (bed at 10pm and I wake her up at 6:30am) and puts herself to bed. She is laughing and cooing all the time. Her smile just melts your heart.
I returned to work 1/11/12 and Reagan is now going to daycare. I think it was harder on me than it was on her. I miss being with her all day. It's too bad we couldn't win the lottery so I could be a stay at home mom...LOL I have tried to think of ways that we could afford to live off of Adam's income but there is no way. At least Reagan's Aunt is the Assist. Director at daycare so there is always someone watching over her. I just miss her smiling at me and our daily talks.
Reagan is getting baptized on Saturday, January 14th at St. Matthew Catholic Church. I am so excited! Her Godmother will be Adams sister, Tori and the Godfather will be my brother, Rob- two great people who lover her dearly. I am going to have her wear my baptism gown. I will post pics next week.

7 weeks old
Reagan has been sleeping through the night now for over 3 weeks. We are implementing "Baby Wise" and it is wonderful! She goes to bed or I should say she puts herself to bed around 10:30pm and I either wake her up to start her day at 6:30am or she wakes up around 6:15-6:30. She is also starting to smile and coo which just melts our hearts! We had to have her tongue clipped on Friday and which I think was harder on Adam and I than it was on Reagan. We heard screams come out of her that we have never heard before or ever want to hear again. I had tears rolling down my cheeks and poor Adam was trying to keep cool since he was the one having to hold her while the doctor did it. If you don't know what tongue tied means it is where that little piece under your tongue is not long enough so the doctor has to cut it. If the baby is young enough they just put some topical numbing cream on it and use scissors to cut it. Poor Reagan had a rough day but she is now back to her normal self. I am still on maternity leave this week and then I go back to work on the 9th. I am dreading this because I have a hard enough time leaving her for only an hour.

11/11/11....Reagan Nicole Lawrence
Reagan Nicole Lawrence
11/11/11
2:03am
7lbs 12oz
20 inches
Reagan decided to come a little bit early, 12 hours to be exact.
Thursday night Adam and I were getting ready to go to bed for the last time as a family of 2. Adam decided to take some Benadryl to help him sleep through the night since we were both wide awake in anticipation for the arrival of Reagan at 2pm on Friday. Adam rolls over to go to bed and I do the same except I felt something completely different than I have ever felt before....a gush of something in my underwear. I say to Adam, "uh oh, I think my water just broke." I get out of bed and go to the bathroom to check. My water had broke on its own at 9:30pm Thursday night. I call the on call doctor to tell her what has happened and jump in the shower. I figure its my last shower for a few days so why not. Adam is running all through the house trying to pack his hospital bag. Mine was already done- of course for those of you who know me, I am always prepared.
We arrive at Community North Hospital around 11pm and head to triage. The maternity ward was crazy busy, maybe because it was a full moon or maybe because everyone wanted to have their baby on 11/11/11. We finally get a triage room and they monitor me until the doctor arrives. I am now having contractions but not real bad. Since we had just had dinner at 6pm they needed us to wait 6 hours before we could start the c-section, which was fine with me since I was still praying for that 11/11/11 birthday. Reagan decided she wanted that date to by breaking my water. The earliest they could start the c-section was at 1:30am so Reagan was born at 2:03am. She came out crying and with a full head of hair. Adam got pictures of the c-section which surprisingly is not bad.
We finally got a real room and were able to get 1 hour of sleep from 5am - 6am. We then had to stay in the hospital through Monday and were almost not released thanks to my blood pressure hitting a record high of 172/100. In my defense, I was already upset because the pharmacy had taken 2 hours to fill 1 prescription and they decided to take my BP when my baby was screaming. Finally after waiting another 3 hours, we were given the green light to go.

38 Weeks......12 more days to go!
We have made it to 38 weeks and it looks as if Reagan is in no hurry to come early so it looks like her birthday will remain 11/11/11. I am feeling good, still doing housework, a little yard work, and preparing some frozen meals so I won't have to cook as much when Reagan gets here. My blood pressure is awesome and I am experiencing some swelling here and there but my OB said it is just part of being pregnant. I had a doctors appointment last Thursday and I am not dilating yet. I only have 1 more doctors appointment this Thursday. It's weird to think Adam and I only have one more weekend to sleep in and be lazy. I just hope the next 2 weeks fly by and I continuing feeling as good as I have. Here are my last official belly shots since I will not make it to 40 weeks.
Adam and I also took advantage of Halloween and painted my belly as a pumpkin. Please note that Adam is responsible for all the artwork! He had me almost in tears from laughter.

36 Weeks
We are officially 36 weeks today! Whoo Hoo! Only 26 days left to go. I have had some on and off swelling over the last week but Saturday and Sunday were good days. So good that on Saturday I made 3 different meals to freeze for when Reagan arrives and Sunday I mowed the grass and even cleaned up some of my mulch beds. Here are my 36 week belly shots.
